What is an off-air antenna? How does it function? Antennas are used to acquire, obtain, or receive transmitting signals for a variety of uses such as watching television or simply listening to the radio. When an antenna transmits, electromagnetic waves are released and begin traveling throughout the air. The wave hitting any metal object results in the object being induced with an electrical current. With the proper cabling and amplifiers video signal can be extracted or tuned in to allowing the program to be viewed. Below, a selection of RV off-air antennas are available to do just that, gain reception for your RV. A RV satellite is used to view satellite broadcasting.
Winegard Compact Roadstar TV Antenna
Aerodynamic and compact, The RoadStar RS-1500 off-air antenna is an all direction signal receiver, capable of acquiring a signal from ANY direction whether in transit or stationary. Power supply is included capable of either surface or flush mounting.
Winegard Dipole 82-Channel TV-FM RV Antenna
Bi-directional reception is better with the Dipole 82-channel TV-FM antenna since it is mounted outside and not indoors. Installation is a cinch requiring only a screwdriver to make it happen. Once installed storage is made easy by a lowering function that allows the antenna to be tucked away to the side of your RV, putting it out of the way. Included is the mast and downlead as well as the hardware.
Winegard Hide-Away Omni-Directional RV TV Antenna

The atenna's umbrella design, that folds in, is capable of being stored and protected by a weatherproof tube. Included is shielded antenna, housing/rain cap, cable/connectors, VHF-UHF band separator and mounting hardware
Winegard Motorized Sensar Antenna MA1000W
Operational with the push of a button within your RV is the Winegard Motorized Sensar Antenna MA1000W. The same control panel offering power also allows you to raise, lower and rotate your antenna. While parked, this cable-ready bi-directional antenna has an integrated amplifier for outstanding VHF/UHF signal reception. UV protected Centrex polymer protects your antenna head from the sun and being coupled with a base that is made with corrosion resistant aluminum ensures years of service.
Winegard Road Star Roadstar RS 2000 Antenna
Winegard Road Star Roadstar RS 2000 Antenna is omnidirectional, capable of continuous reception of VHF/UHF/FM signals from any direction, even while in transit! The windiest of roads pose no threat, signal reception remains top-notch, so, there is no need to adjust! Solid state amplifier is integrated and average signal claims are of 15db for VHF and 20 db for UHF. Power supply only requires a 12 volt DC.
WINEGARD SENSAR II TV Non-Amplified, SENSAR III Amplified, & ULTIMATE SENSAR III ANTENNAES
While parked, clear VHF/UHF reception is achieved with the WINEGARD SENSAR II TV ANTENNA & WINEGARD SENSAR III TV ANTENNA, Amplified. Operational from the inside your RV, the antenna conveniently raises, lowers and rotates with your control. During travel the antenna can be lowered within 4" of your RV's roof for storage. Wing design is streamlined and is made durably strong with high quality embossing. The amplified model has an integrated amplifier coupled with unique circuitry to provide clear VHF/UHF reception while stationary.
